  • Where can I park?

    As a centrally-located shop, we highly encourage utilizing public transportation, ride shares, biking and walking. However, we also understand that we live in a very car-dependent city that can make those options difficult.

    We do have a small lot that we share with the rest of the shopping center, but parking is limited. There is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood, and we ask that you please be mindful and respectful of our neighboring homes and businesses.

    *Please note that our shared lot does NOT include the City Vet lot. Please only park in spots on our side of the alleyway.

  • There's no place to sit! Can you add more seating?

    The seating that we have designed is in compliance with the occupancy load that was granted to us by the City of Austin. Open space also allows us room for movement, lines, and waiting.

    Seating can fill up quickly. If there are open seats at an occupied table, we encourage you to meet someone new and ask to share space whenever possible!

  • What pastries do you have today?

    We have a consistent selection of Chinese pastries, biscuits, and gluten-free goods each day. We also rotate through limited items provided by a talented number of home bakers.

    Pastry deliveries arrive at about 8:30am daily. Sell-out patterns change every day, however we typically recommend to arrive before 11am if you are looking for a (relatively) full pastry case.

    *Please note that we are not a bakery and we do not prepare any food items on-site. Due to this, baked goods are available on a first come first serve basis and availability will depend on daily demand.

  • My favorite drink is sold out! Can you make more?

    We do our very best to keep up with demand, however it is sometimes inevitable that we run out of a housemade syrup or ingredient - especially on busy days and especially as we continue learning. Please note that challenges with supply chain (tariffs, shortages, etc etc) may also come into play.

    If we’re out of your favorite drink one day, this might be a good opportunity to find another new favorite ◡̈

  • Do you allow dogs?

    We are huge dog people - however due to city health regulations, we can only allow service dogs in our shop. We appreciate your understanding!

  • Do you accept cash?

    We do not accept cash payments. We do accept payment via card or tap to pay.

  • Do you allow outside food or drink?

    Outside food and drinks are not allowed in our shop. Please purchase from our menu instead ♡

  • Can I reserve a table for an event?

    We do not accept reservations for tables in our cafe. If you are looking to host an event of some kind, please reach out to events@laulauatx.com.
